- US Highway 285: Winding through Denver to New Mexico, this scenic drive is the absolutely best way to be reacquainted with Colorado. You will pass the Collegiate Peaks, Pikes Peak, and other breathtaking mountain ranges. You can stop along the way at some of our favorite mountain towns.
- Million Dollar Highway: Million Dollar Highway is for those adrenaline junkies out there, as this drive has been referred to as Colorado’s most dangerous road. If you and your sweetheart love icy roads with tantalizing views, this drive is for you.
- Trail Ridge Road: Trail Ridge Road is the highest elevation paved through road in North America and was originally used as a trading route by indigenous communities for many years. This drive also winds through the Rocky Mountain National Park.
- US Highway 50: You can start at Monarch Pass in the east and end in Grand Junction in the west and truly experience all that Colorado has to offer along the way. Beware this road has been called “Loneliest Road,” so make sure your special someone is with you for the drive.
- Peak to Peak Highway: This highway is just a few miles from Denver and doubles as a romantic weekend getaway. It stretches about 40 miles between Nederland and Estes Park and has steep grades and sharp curves.
